Business After Hours, July 17,2025, at Clarksville Regional Airport, 200 Outlaw Field., from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.  There will be free food, free drinks, and networking opportunities for local business leaders. RSVP is not required. 

Business Expo – Hosted by Clarksville Regional Airport
The Business Expo for our small and home-based businesses is one of the most attended Business After Hours. The event will be held on July 17,2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Clarksville Regional Airport, 200 Outlaw Field. 

Clarksville Young Professionals

Glenn Shepard Seminar – How to Supervise People and Lead a Team
We’re bringing internationally renowned management expert Glenn Shepard to present the SHRM accredited seminar “How to Supervise People and Lead a Team” live in Clarksville on July 22 at Holiday Inn Northeast, 216 Cracker Barrel Drive from 8:30 AM to Noon.  Members $197.  Non-Chamber tuition is $297.  When 3 or more enroll, the 4th person attends for FREE.

Nominate a Military/Veteran-Owned Business of the Month
The Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee is accepting nominations for its monthly military/veteran-owned business of the month recognition.  The goal of this program is to promote Chamber businesses that are owned by veterans, service members, or veteran/military family members and recognize them for all the good they do in the community.  E-mail nominations to Phil at Phil@clarksville.tn.us      

Montgomery County – Disaster Recovery Center  
A Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) will open beginning Friday, June 27, to help residents who had damage or losses from the severe weather and flooding from April 2-24, 2025. The center is located at: The Clarksville Montgomery County Public Library

Monday – Thursday: 9:00 am - 8:00 pm
Friday – Saturday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Those impacted in Montgomery can now apply for FEMA Individual Assistance Online anytime at www.disasterassistance.gov , By phone at 1-800-621-3362. On the FEMA mobile app. In-person at a Disaster Recovery Center.

Those eligible for FEMA’s IA program may receive help with rental assistance, home repair, and personal property replacement, in addition to other uninsured or underinsured disaster losses. More information FEMA's IA program can be found here. Documents you will need to provide to FEMA: Proof of Identification, Insurance Determination Letter, Proof of Occupancy or Ownership

We strongly encourage all individuals who experienced damage or losses from the severe weather event to visit a Disaster Recovery Center and talk to a representative about assistance that may be available. U.S. Small Business Administration – Low Interest Loans
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is encouraging businesses, private nonprofits (PNPs) and residents in Kentucky, who sustained damages due to sever storms, straight-line-winds, tornadoes, flooding, landslides and mudslides beginning on April 2, 2025, to apply to the federal disaster loan program before the July 25 deadline. 

Disaster survivors do not need to wait for insurance settlement to apply for an SBA disaster loan.  If a survivor does not know who much of their loss will be covered by insurance or other sources, SBA can make a low interest disaster loan for the total loss up to its loan limits, provided the borrower agrees to use insurance proceeds to reduce or repay the loan. 

The disaster declaration covers the primary counties of Anderson, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Butler, Calloway, Carroll, Christian, Clark, Daviess, Franklin, Garrard, Grayson, Hancock, Hardin, Hart, Henderson, Henry, Hopkins, Jefferson, Jessamine, LaRue, Lincoln, McCracken, McLean, Meade, Mercer, Muhlenberg, Nelson, Ohio, Oldham, Owen, Pendleton, Powell, Trimble, Warren, Webster, and Woodford, which are eligible for both physical damage loans and Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) from the SBA.

Small businesses and most PNP organizations in the following adjacent counties are eligible to apply for SBA EIDL assistance: Allen, Ballard, Barren, Bourbon, Boyle, Caldwell, Campbell, Carlisle, Casey, Crittenden, Edmonson, Estill, Fayette, Gallatin, Grant, Graves, Green, Harrison, Kenton, Lee, Livingston, Logan, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Menifee, Metcalfe, Montgomery, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Scott, Shelby, Simpson, Spencer, Taylor, Todd, Trigg, Union, Washington, and Wolfe in Kentucky. In Illinois, the counties of Massac and Pulaski are eligible, In Indiana the counties of Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Perry, Posey, Spencer, Switzerland, Vanderburgh, and Warrick are eligible. In Ohio Clermont County is eligible and in Tennessee the counties of Henry, Montgomery, and Stewart are eligible.

Clarksville Parks & Recreation – Independence Day Celebration
This July 3, Clarksville Parks & Recreation invites the community to step back into that spirit with a totally 90s-inspired Independence Day Celebration at Liberty Park.  From 5-9 PM, the riverfront will come alive with live music, food trucks, festive games, and one of the most anticipated fireworks shows of the year.  Fireworks begin at 9:10 PM.  Admission is free, and families are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.  No Pets, No outside alcoholic beverages, No personal fireworks.  For more information, visit ClarksvilleParksRec.com.

Planters Bank – Seed Grant Competition
The SEED grant competition is for a new or existing business to receive a prize package to help start or expand their business.  The top business plans submitted for consideration will be selected to compete in a pitch-style competition, with judges selecting one winner of the SEED grant competition.  Business Plan Workshops, June 3 (TN) & June 24 (KY) Business Plan Submission: July 11 (Not all submissions will be chosen to pitch) Pitch Competition: July 24 Winner Announced by August 15.    Prize Details: $10,000 business startup or growth grant, one year membership to the Chamber of Commerce, Inclusion in Wealth Builder Class, one year membership to The Press, $500 paid advertising fund, Monthly marketing consultation with Williams Advertising for one year, assist with establishing online presence by Williams Advertising. 

Blood Assurance – Urgent Need
The week surrounding Independence Day is one of the most challenging times for maintaining a stable blood supply.  Donation rates drop as people travel, but the demand for blood surges-especially following traumatic accidents, which often increase during the holiday celebrations.  All blood types are needed.  Eligible donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent), weight 110 pounds or pore, and be in good health.  Eat a hearty meal and drink plenty of water before donating.  Make your appointment today at www.bloodassurance.org/schedule, call 800-962-0628 or text BAGIVE to 999777.  Walk-ins are welcome at any Blood Assurance donor center or mobile drive.   

City of Clarksville – Red River Pedestrian Bridge Project
