Description

The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce has planned an upcoming intercity visit to Evansville, Indiana. Evansville is the central city of the metropolitan area, a hub of commercial, medical and cultural activity of Southwestern Indiana and the Illinois-Indiana-Kentucky tri-state area. The similarities between Evansville and Clarksville, with the groundbreaking of two new hospitals, make this year's Intercity Visit timely and relevant. We will have the opportunity to hear from Evansville's mayor and talk with city officials about their downtown revitalization, public/private/regional partnerships, growth demands, and education/health services.
